    The IACC is a national, institution‑focused advisory body that provides CANARIE with high‑level strategic guidance on cybersecurity priorities, trends, and needs across Canada’s research and education (R&E) sector.

    IACC members do not act as formal representatives or spokespeople for any organization or association. Members are expected to stay actively connected to their respective communities, bring forward sector perspectives, and help share IACC insights back into those communities.

    We estimate an average time commitment of 2-3 hours per month on average, which may include informal outreach to peers and/or participation in consultations outside scheduled IACC meetings.
