This application is intended for active Canadian Access Federation (CAF) Participants who were previously approved for one or more core CAF services and would like to apply for additional core CAF services, such as:

• eduroam Service Provider
• eduroam Identity Provider
• Federated Identity Management Service Provider
• Federated Identity Management Identity Provider

If you have already implemented Federated Identity Management and want to apply for the Research & Scholarship (R&S) Entity Category or Security Incident Response Trust Framework for Federal Identity (SIRTFI), you can do so here:

All CAF Participants have established authorized contacts for the CAF Program. If you are not part of the authorized contact list, or if you are on the list but are not authorized to make service requests, we will share your application with the designated authorized contact to confirm this request.

CAF Participants may be eligible to implement one or both of the core CAF services: 

• eduroam (educational roaming Wi-Fi)
• Federated Identity Management (FIM)

Eligibility will be assessed upon receipt of this form. Definitions for each service can be found in the drop-down section below.
